Lexi Likes -- Lush ladies and Lush birthdays!

Hello all!
Earlier today I went to my friend's birthday party at Lush. All the staff were so lovely and I had a great time there and wanted to share it with you all!

We arrived at the wonderfully smelling store and two gorgeous girls called Nic and Magda (thanks again girls if you're reading) showed us around and told us all about the products and how their all new line is dedicated to rosemary. Rosemary has so many benefits for your skin and it was so cool to learn about what wonders it does. As we were toured around all the products, we were allowed to try and test all of them and afterwards our hands felt amazing, lets be honest. We then played a few games and quizzes to see who could remember anything about the products and who could demonstrate how they work. Being a blogger, I already knew everything about bubble bars and was thrilled to attempt demonstrating and I think I did pretty well.

We then were taught about how their bath bombs are made and got to make some ourselves. They are made out of a mixture of colourful powders and decorations, then put into a mould to set for a day or so.

The best part was that we got £10 to spend in store as part of the birthday package and we were allowed to keep the bath bombs we made. Below is a picture of my loot. I will make sure to review the products soon.

Overall it was a great day and I want to thank the friendly girls at Lush because they were so nice to us. I would definitely recommend a Lush birthday-do if you are a sucker for their products (me) or you want to learn more about them.

Lexi Likes -- Film cameras

I was watching some old YouTube videos by Elle Fowler (allthatglitters21) and I found her video about lomography cameras. Curious Lexi decided to browse the Internet for a while looking at film cameras and I decided I wanted the Diana mini. My lovely gorgeous friend Pascale bought it for me for my birthday and I am so excited to use it. My reasons for getting the mini were as follows:

-It uses 35mm film which is easier to find than the film normal Dianas use.
-It is more compact and easier to carry around.
-It was a lot cheaper than the other film cameras I was researching.

I can't wait to try it out and let you all know about how I get on.  Expect many more posts about film cameras! I took this sneaky shot with my digital camera and I thought it was great because it captured a little peice of my life. My cat, my Diana mini and my friend Rosa in the back.

Lexi Likes -- Salt sprays for summer beach hair

Hello all!

Long time no talk! Today I want to talk about the L'oreal Matt and messy salt spray

So, I'm trying to grow out my hair and I have made a pact with myself to not use heat. I tend not to curl my hair anyway but I am resisting even blow drying my hair and letting it air dry. My recent routine starts with either putting my hair in a messy bun overnight or when it's damp. This gives my hair some body to it. I then use a salt spray to give my hair a real beachy look to it. I have been using this one and I do like it a lot because it doesn't make your hair look greasy or shiny like some other salt sprays. It gives a very nice Matt finish but it can sometimes be a tiny bit sticky. I like to spray it on my fingers and then scrunch my hair like in the picture shown.

Then I flip my head upside down and run any leftovers through my roots to give a little bit of volume and bobs your uncle your done! I love this look for summer and it means you can have beachy hair right from your home!

Ta Dah! Let me know if you try this out!
