Hello all! I had a play around with some water colour pencils the other day and did some cute illustrations. I also have to update you all on what's happened recently.
This one is a 'tribute drawing' if you will to the book Adorkable by Sarra Manning. It's about a blogger and a very fun read. This is how she describes one of Jean's (the main character and blogger) outfits. The character seemed so quirky and fun during the book, I had to draw her.
In the recent few days I have become crazily busy. I'm going to an MUN conference on Friday through my school which I'm excited for but also a little nervous because I still have lots to do. If you don't know, MUN is Model United Nations (so it's a model of the real UN). Each school represents a different country and each person talks about an issue on their given committee. For example, my school is representing Saudi Arabia and I'm on the Political committee. This should be interesting as I'm a feminist and have to talk about empowerment of women and how they aren't allowed to drive. You basically just debate with other people on the spot and have to talk from a view you don't necessarily agree with. I've only ever done one conference before but that was in London and this one a lot further away. It's fairly formal at first but then you end up having fun too - last time China and I (I was Australia) formed a communist super-state named 'Unicorn land' or something like that. I'm going to try and take some pictures but my friend Aliya is going to vlog it for her youtube so I will definitely have some coverage of it. Speaking of youtube, I started my own channel! If you follow me on twitter you'll know already but I'm very excited to start making videos. I've already filmed my first one but I won't have time to edit and upload it till after MUN so you guys are going to have to be patient with that.
My blogger friend Tolly set up an amazing site for bloggers called Bundle. If you are a blogger, go and sign up because it's a great way to connect with others and promote your site. I wrote a guest post for the Bundle blog where I reviewed my new Kanken bag and you can see that HERE. Go sign up to Bundle HERE.
In other news, I ran into Fin Harries in a hairdressers. He was very nice and polite and kindly took a selfie with me when I asked. I was very chill and cool on the outside but inside I was fangirling to the extreme.
That's my update!
