So January is over (what?) and I thought I'd do a sort of summary of the month, with journal pages, favourites, what I've been up to etc. I tried doing monthly favourites before but it didn't work for me so I'm trying this out instead. Firstly, here is a page of my travel scrapbook as I finally got around to documenting my New York trip, which was last Summer but better late then never right?
A journal page of a tribute collage to this anime movie I watched recently called The girl who leapt through time which I quite liked.
Sketching some designs in my journal based on magazine finds.
I got new bookshelves in my room and have had lots of fun decorating them. I thrifted this cute oriental tin and used it to store pencils (you can also see some of my manga in the back).
I went to a car boot sale on Sunday and picked up a cute Summery dress which I won't be able to wear for months but that's okay. One person was selling these cute bundles of fabric which I couldn't not photograph.
At the moment I'm loving Chanel's Spring 2014 collection and all the pastel tweeds incorporated. I have some fabric similar to this which I really want to try and make something with.
Notice the sneaky holographic bag in this one (which I'm also loving).

Finally, I have watched The Fault in our stars movie trailer about 17 times and I can't wait for it to come out! I liked the book a lot and it's really cool to watch things in your imagination become reality. Are you excited for The Fault in our stars?

Your journal is so nice and you're so talented. I'm not sure whether to be really, really excited for TFIOS or just very, like, indifferent because so often the trailers are really misleading and the movies are terrible. But, oh, well.
