FITNESS ROUTINE FOR A LAZY TEEN

Picture this: a young blonde female, ever so slightly shorter than myself, sitting on a sofa with Friends playing on the TV, biscuits in hand, and her laptop resting over her blanket with arms which oh-so-elegantly cloaks her body. A captivating vision, surely? There's no denying I love that lifestyle. But at the beginning of this year, I decided to make a change. I started boxing training, and I've been hooked ever since. It was a rough start (I threw up after my first session) but I slowly got fitter, and then I started running, and eating a better diet. Now, here I sit, limbs sore from this-morning's session, on the sofa once more, but there is not an ounce of guilt in my body - I've earned this.

Sport has never been my thing. I would walk instead of run in my PE lessons, laugh at the prospect of exercising, and I wore my 'Development Squad' title (AKA the rejects of the school sports teams) like a badge of honour. When I started boxing, all of that changed. Hear all about it, and join me in a typical session in my new video. Watch below or click HERE.

It's incredibly rewarding to see my fitness improve, and my capabilities evolve. I'm finally interested in a sport and I love it.
