OMER ASIM SS16

Omer Asim's SS16 collection was held in an eerie corner of the Elms Lesters painting rooms with a beautiful sky light and a creepy painting of Jesus. The industrial setting was a refreshing contrast to the elegant clothes of the collection. The models floated from corner to corner, completely static once they found their place.

The collection focused on clean lines and silhouettes with a neutral colour palette. I loved the braid crowns that the female models wore, emphasising the gender fluid shapes of some pieces.

The boxy shapes created a simple elegance, enhanced by elements of geometric shapes.
